“Can Life Be Simple Like This?”

I dare to ask the question, Can life be simple? No limiting beliefs, no mantras, no yoga.
Mooji poses the question, “And if I ask you could it go away, where would it go?” All those beliefs that keep you narrow-minded... He then answers for us by saying that it can’t go anywhere. It has the potential to, little by little, “...sabotage your seeing and cover up your light, but not without your assistance.”
And he makes a very profound point when saying, “When you surrender you do not practice this. You simply see.” You simply are.
No effort is needed.
”The Art Of Not Trying,” you could call it, but we must remember not to put ourselves on a pedestal for “reaching” that enlightened state, for that would do service to no one.
But the urge to raise self on a pedestal for such a success is to misunderstand it completely.
We can‘t long for enlightment. We can’t desire it. In Buddhist culture, it’s believed that one of the only things that it’s okay to desire is enlightenment, but I believe that only makes enlightenment harder to see. For enlightenment is here already within us. We may become more and more clear on the enlightenment we possess inside, but it is not something to be desired for it is of our natural state. To pursue enlightenment just takes you away from the now, but to be in the now is to be enlightened, for that is our natural state. Being ever present. Here. Always right here, in the now. Maybe read that back for a moment because life can be simple like this, you see?
We are now, all we need to be in this moment. Our inner peace is just clouded by social conditioning.
just be
Life can be simple like this, you see...

The excerpt at the beginning is from a video by Moojibaba called “The Power of Your Own Light.” It‘s a 2 hour and 40 minute free video on YouTube. It’s so profound that I haven’t even got through the whole thing yet. Above are the revelations I came to from these few sentences of his.
Sending lots of love and light
just be
(If you feel you didn’t understand much of this, I urge you to revisit this post at a later date)
